UK based Surface Pattern Designer & Artist, Hollie Quinn

Meet The Artist

Hollie Quinn is a British artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer creating richly detailed designs for luxury interiors.

Her work explores the beauty of imperfection, from bug-eaten leaves and tangled brambles to the quiet poetry of decay. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, folklore, and historical decorative arts, each design is crafted with intention, material sensitivity, and sustainability at its core.

Graduating with a BA (Hons) in Textiles from Norwich University of the Arts, Hollie’s practice is rooted in a deep understanding of cloth and construction. A decade spent working as a professional seamstress informs her approach to pattern and scale, with a particular sensitivity to how designs live on fabric, wallpaper, and within interior spaces.

Almost all designs begin as large-scale hand-drawn charcoal works, often created at A1 size, before being translated into repeat patterns and illustrative compositions. This process lends her work a sense of tactility and drama, making it particularly suited to statement wallpapers, textiles, and decorative surfaces.

Hollie’s collections are designed to feel timeless rather than trend-led, pieces with character, atmosphere, and a slightly otherworldly edge. Influenced by historic pattern design, Victorian natural history, and the macabre, her work sits comfortably in bold, considered interiors.

She is available for licensing and commissioned work across wallpaper, fabric, and interior products.
